Dutch is an absolutely stunning, 16hh, 5-year-old, buckskin Friesian/Quarter Horse cross gelding.
He is very gentle, easy to handle and a joy to be around. He is so personable and really enjoys attention, bathing, grooming, hanging out and riding.
I had the pleasure of starting Dutch for his previous owner. He was easy to start and very trainable. Later when my client called and said he had to sell all his horses, we were happy to have the opportunity to purchase Dutch and work with him once again.

Lenas Smart Bullet or as we call him in our barn Bullet, is a 2016 chestnut gelding that stands 14.3hh. Bullet has been at our place for a little over a year. He’s gone through our training program and has definitely earned his spot as a horse that we go to if we need a good reliable mount. Whether it’s for working cattle, trail riding or going to town.
Bullet has great ground manners. Stands tied, cross ties, high line and ground ties. For saddling, grooming, bathing, clipping or the farrier. He loads in a stock trailer and a slant load with ease.
When it comes to riding Bullet has the handle of a reiner. He guides with ease, going wherever you point him. He is light in the bridle, moves off leg pressure, and flows through his transitions. Bullet has a great walk, slow jog, wonderful extended trot, and a lope you can sit all day long.
In the arena Bullet has been used to settle herds of cattle and turn back when we are training cutting horses. He has also sorted cattle and pushed them up the alley onto trailers.
Outside Bullet has been used to check and move cattle. But if you are more interested in going for a trail ride than working cattle. That’s great, Bullet really enjoys just going out and seeing the countryside, or the city streets. He has no problems with saddle bags, and if you’re wondering. In the video the saddle bags have plastic milk jugs with rocks in them. If a horse can walk, trot and lope with that racket strapped on them then I consider them bag broke. We have ridden him on a wide variety of terrain. From open fields to wooded timber; flat fields to step rocky hills; dead fall, water, and bridges he crosses with no problem.

With that being said, we bring you Wimpys Buck BBB aka Romeo. He is a 2015 registered AQHA buckskin gelding that stands 14.3hh and is very thick. As you will see in our video and I know it’s rather long, but well worth watching. Romeo has been put in a lot of different situations. He has always handled them with the same levelheaded ease and grace. His disposition is outstanding, always patient no matter the rider or situation. Romeo takes bridleless to the next level. He will trail ride, do the obstacle course, and rope cattle with nothing but a neck rope. We have used Romeo for lessons with riders ranging from 4 to 70+ years old.
He has been trail ridden in a very wide variety of terrain from flat open areas to steep, rocky, rugged timber. As well as the busy streets of town. He is traffic safe and that includes bicycles.
Romeo has been used to gather cattle, sort pairs and pasture rope. He tracks cattle very nicely and works a rope well. We have also used him to move horses, halter train and start colts. LR Mr Bars 16
Hi, I am LR Mr Bars 16 but I prefer to be called Big D. I am 4 yrs old, stand 15.3hh and they call me a blue roan. I don’t think that is important though, it’s what is on the inside that matters most. I have spent the summer working here at Tietjen Performance Horses for Terry. Even though I have enjoyed my time here I think it is time to look for different employment. Maybe something with a 401K and payed vacation. With that said, let me tell you about my qualifications and experience. I take a bit and saddle very well. I am light in the face and move off leg pressure. My transitions from walk, trot and lope are very smooth and easy. I can also stop on a dime. I have ridden out on the trail in a wide variety of terrain by myself and with other horses. I go wherever Terry asks me to even though I’m pretty sure he’s not always paying attention. I enjoy opening gates, checking pairs, moving cows, ponying colts, halter breaking other horses (that are not as educated as me) and helping Terry start colts under saddle. I also enjoy warm baths, trailer rides, having my hooves worked on by this guy they call a farrier and stand around tied up just relaxing. So, if you have an opening for an easy going, loveable, personable, hardworking, punctual, loveable, attentive, patient, and did I mention loveable employee, please let me know!

Boonlight Dandy is a 3-year-old blue roan gelding that stands 14.3 hh. This gelding will definitely turn some heads. He has great confirmation, is very athletic and has color to boot! Clara is a 14 year old grade mare that stands 14.1hh. She has a great disposition and is very easy to be around. Clara spent 10 days with us riding in the Big South Fork of Tennessee. We have used her around our place to trail ride and check cattle. She goes where ever you point her with ease. She has a nice walk, trot and lope. She spent 5 days at a local horse and pony camp being ridden by a 14 year old girl. They got along great. She loads in the trailer, stands tied, for the farrier and to be bathed and clipped. I put 30 days riding on him the fall as a 2 year old, turned him back out. He has been rode off and on since late in his 3rd year. He rides great by himself, been used to check cattle, stands tied, hobbled and loads and rides in the trailer great. He is very light in the face and on his sides. Moving off your legs very well. He picks up his leads and will lope around very easy. He is used to a rope and dragging poles, Cisco is learning to work a rope well. He also stands nice for the farrier.
